Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced onions.
- Cook the onions, stirring occasionally, until they are caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- Place the caramelized onions on each pastry square and top with shredded Gruyere cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with hot honey before serving.
