- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and trim the green beans.
- In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the beans are crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
- Make sure the green beans are spread out evenly on the baking sheet for even roasting.
