Description

A quick and delicious beef stir fry that can be made in just 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for an additional minute.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and mix everything together. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
