Description

A quick and easy recipe for Chicken Marsala that can be made in just 30 minutes, perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 3/4 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off the excess.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and sauté until tender.
  6. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. Stir in the butter until melted and combined.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
  • Feel free to add garlic for extra flavor.
