A quick and easy recipe for Chicken Marsala that can be made in just 30 minutes, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 3/4 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off the excess.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and sauté until tender.
- Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Stir in the butter until melted and combined.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
- Feel free to add garlic for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
