Description

A quick and flavorful lemon butter chicken recipe that can be prepared in just 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  6. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and the remaining butter to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the lemon butter sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
