- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and the remaining butter to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the lemon butter sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
