Description

A quick and delicious recipe for coconut crusted fish that is crispy and golden.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix the shredded coconut and breadcrumbs.
  3. In another dish, beat the eggs.
  4. Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper.
  5. Dredge each fillet in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with the coconut-breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Fry the fish fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the fish to a baking sheet and bake in the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
