Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  7. Once the meatballs are done, add them to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with pasta or on a sub for a meatball sandwich.
  • Can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
