Description

A quick and easy recipe for crispy baked chicken parmesan that can be made in just 40 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken breast with olive oil, then dip into the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  6. Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
