Description

A simple and comforting recipe for chicken and dumplings made in a crockpot with just six ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cut the biscuit dough into quarters and add to the crockpot.
  6. Cover and cook until the biscuits are fluffy and cooked through.

  • For added flavor, you can include vegetables like carrots or peas.
