The 7 Second Ice Water Hack is a refreshing, mineral-rich drink designed to kickstart your digestion and hydration each morning. Simple and effective, it uses common kitchen ingredients to give you a wellness boost in under a minute.
Ingredients

- 8–12 oz filtered, ice-cold water
- ½ lemon, freshly squeezed
- 1 pinch Himalayan pink salt
- 4–6 ice cubes
- Optional: 1 tsp raw apple cider vinegar (with “the mother”)
- Optional: ¼ tsp grated fresh ginger
- Optional: 1 dash baking soda
Instructions
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in cold filtered water.
- Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
- Add a pinch of Himalayan pink salt.
- Stir for a few seconds.
- Sip the full glass within 7–10 seconds, preferably first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Notes
Use a straw if you have sensitive teeth. Pre-mix lemon juice and pink salt in a mason jar for quicker prep. Start with ½ tsp apple cider vinegar if you’re new to it.
