Instructions
- Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly.
- Cut each potato into evenly sized wedges (about 8 per potato).
- Place the potato wedges in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for 15 minutes to remove excess starch and ensure crispiness.
- Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- Toss them in a mixing bowl with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for 3-5 minutes.
- Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
- Check the wedges. If you want them crispier, cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the wedges from the air fryer and garnish with parmesan cheese or fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
