Description

Deliciously flaky almond croissant cinnamon rolls that combine the best of both worlds.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of croissant dough
  • 1/2 cup almond paste
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a floured surface.
  3. Spread the softened butter over the dough.
  4. Mix almond paste, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl, then spread it over the buttered dough.
  5. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into rolls.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
