- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg

- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and form into patties.
- In a skillet, brown the patties on both sides over medium heat.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth until well combined.
- Place the browned patties in a baking dish and pour the soup mixture over them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the patties are cooked through.
- Serve the hamburger steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy.
