Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups cooked egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink.
  3. Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix well.
  4. Add the cooked egg noodles and half of the cheddar cheese to the mixture. Stir until combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
