Description

A creamy and flavorful chicken and rice casserole that’s perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and rice, ensuring everything is well coated.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
