An easy and delicious dessert treat made with apples and cinnamon.
Ingredients

- 2 cans of apple pie filling
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup of chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the apple pie filling.
- Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over the cake mix.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top.
- If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
- Can substitute apple pie filling with fresh apples for a homemade version.
