A delicious and easy-to-make apple fritter bread that combines the flavors of apple fritters with the texture of bread.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and eggs.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced apples and vanilla extract.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Sprinkle half of the brown sugar over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter on top and sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or raisins to the batter.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
