  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in cold water, a tablespoon at a time, until mixture forms a ball. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  5. Place sliced apples in the center of the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Fold the dough over the apples and seal the edges.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the warm kringle before serving.
