Description
A soothing, metabolism-boosting tea made from apple peels, fennel, and cinnamon. Ideal for digestion and a calming nightly ritual.
Ingredients

- Peels from 2 organic apples (Fuji or Granny Smith preferred)
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp whole fennel seeds
- Juice from 1/4 lemon
- Optional: 1 tsp raw honey (after steeping)
Instructions
- Rinse apple peels thoroughly and place in a small pot.
- Add water, cinnamon stick, and fennel seeds.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat, squeeze in lemon juice, and cover to steep another 5 minutes.
- Strain into a mug and add honey if using.
- Drink warm, ideally 30–60 minutes after dinner.
Notes
This tea was tested in Italy, Thailand, and Georgia. Universally loved for its digestive and sleep benefits. Adjust spices to taste.
