- 6 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup whipped cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until the apples are tender.
- Place a few spoonfuls of the apple mixture in the center of each tortilla and roll them up.
- Arrange the rolled tortillas in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the apple pie filling over the top of the enchiladas.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the enchiladas.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until heated through.
- Serve warm with whipped cream on the side.
Notes
- Feel free to use store-bought apple pie filling for convenience.
- Adjust the amount of cinnamon to taste.
- For a richer flavor, add nuts or raisins to the apple mixture.
