- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 2 apples (preferably Granny Smith)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup apricot jam
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into strips.
- Slice the apples thinly and toss them with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Arrange the apple slices along the edge of the pastry strips, overlapping them slightly.
- Fold the bottom of the pastry strip up to cover the apple slices.
- Roll the pastry strip to form a rose shape.
- Place the roses in a muffin tin and brush with apricot jam.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, increase the sugar amount.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for added indulgence.
