Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Knead the mixture until it forms a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into two equal parts and shape each into a round disc about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Cut each disc into quarters to form triangles.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  6. Cook the potato farls for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with butter or your favorite toppings.
