Description

A creamy and crunchy pasta salad featuring bacon, fresh peas, and a rich ranch dressing, perfect for warm gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound spiral pasta
  • 1 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup roughly chopped fresh parsley
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons dried ranch seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to packet directions. Drain and set aside to cool completely.
  2. Make the creamy ranch dressing by adding the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and ranch seasoning to a small mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk until well combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the cooled pasta in a large mixing bowl along with the cooked bacon, thawed peas, grated cheese, and chopped parsley.
  5. Mix until well combined.
  6. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and stir through until well combined.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or longer to let the flavors marry.
  8. Serve from the mixing bowl or transfer to a large salad bowl to serve.
