  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour in the milk and mix until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  7. Roll out the dough and cut into rounds.
  8. Place a slice of roast beef on each round and fold over to create a pocket.
  9. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. In a saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder; heat until warm.
  11. Serve the biscuits with the warm broth for dipping.
