- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks
- 4 ounces sliced ham
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the mozzarella cheese sticks in half.
- Wrap each piece of cheese with a slice of ham.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each ham-wrapped cheese stick first in flour, then in egg, and finally in panko breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray the sticks lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
