Delicious baked chicken meatballs infused with sage, served over creamy Parmesan orzo.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup additional Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, sage, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil and add orzo. Cook according to package instructions.
- Once the orzo is cooked, stir in heavy cream and additional Parmesan cheese.
- Serve the meatballs over the creamy Parmesan orzo.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use ground turkey instead of chicken.
- Feel free to add more herbs to the meatball mixture for extra flavor.
