Description

A simple and delicious dessert that combines the flavors of a classic banana split in a dump cake format.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the sliced bananas, crushed pineapple, maraschino cherries, and chopped nuts.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit layer.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
  5. Pour the chocolate syrup over the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
