Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, soak the shrimp in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, place panko breadcrumbs.
- Remove shrimp from buttermilk, then dredge in flour, dip back into buttermilk, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to create the sauce.
- Serve the crispy shrimp with the sauce on the side.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
- For a healthier option, consider baking the shrimp instead of frying.
