- 4 large sausages
- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausages over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
- In a pot, boil the potatoes until tender, then drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onions until soft, then sprinkle with flour and stir to combine.
- Gradually add the beef broth, stirring until the gravy thickens.
- Serve the sausages over the mashed potatoes, topped with the onion gravy.
