- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed (or whole if preferred)
- 1 cup filtered water
- Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
- Small pinch of ground cinnamon or grated ginger (optional)
Instructions
- Overnight Soak Method: Combine chia, fennel, and flaxseed in a jar with water. Stir, cover, and refrigerate overnight (at least 6 hours). Stir again before drinking. Strain or sip as is.
- Quick Steep Method: Add seeds to warm water and let steep for 10–15 minutes. Stir, strain if desired, and sip. Add lemon juice just before drinking.
Notes
Optional flavor enhancements include lemon juice, ginger, or cinnamon. For a hint of sweetness, use monk fruit or stevia instead of sugar. Ideal on an empty stomach for best absorption.
