Ingredients

- 1 lb smoked brisket, shredded
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer shredded brisket, BBQ sauce, and provolone cheese.
- Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add pickles or jalapeños inside the sandwich.
- Serve with a side of coleslaw for a complete meal.
