- 20 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

- For a vegetarian option, ensure the marinara sauce is meat-free.
- These stuffed shells can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
