- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack blend)
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the shredded cheese, chicken, bell peppers, onions, cilantro, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Place one tortilla on a baking sheet and spread a layer of the filling mixture on top.
- Layer another tortilla on top and repeat the filling process until all tortillas and filling are used.
- Cut the stacked tortillas into wedges, leaving the center intact to create a ring.
- Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
