- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- Powdered sugar for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
- Layer the cubed French bread in the baking dish and sprinkle the blueberries on top.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and blueberries, ensuring all the bread is soaked.
- Cover with foil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Use day-old bread for better texture and absorption. You can mix in other fruits for added variety.
