Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pierce the sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for about 45 minutes or until tender.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir until combined.
  5. Once the sweet potatoes are done, let them cool slightly, then peel and mash them in a bowl.
