- 1 loaf of brioche bread
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
- Tear the brioche bread into bite-sized pieces and place them in the prepared dish.
- Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Pour this mixture evenly over the bread pieces.
- Gently press down on the bread to make sure all pieces are soaked in the egg mixture.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and let it sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden and puffed.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
