Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage, beef broth, diced tomatoes, carrots, celery, and thyme.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
