Description

A flavorful recipe combining spicy Cajun chicken with creamy garlic parmesan linguine.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the linguine according to package instructions; drain and add to the sauce.
  6. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the linguine, tossing to combine.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning based on your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
