- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 8 ounces linguine
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Meanwhile, cook the linguine according to package instructions; drain and add to the sauce.
- Slice the chicken and place it on top of the linguine, tossing to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning based on your spice preference.
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
