Description

A simple and fun recipe to make delicious cake pops at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 1 cup of frosting
  • Chocolate or candy melts
  • Sprinkles
  • Lollipop sticks


Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions and bake.
  2. Once the cake is cooled, crumble it into a large bowl.
  3. Add the frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and then insert it into a cake ball.
  8. Coat each cake pop in the melted chocolate and add sprinkles if desired.
  9. Place the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or a cake pop stand to set.
