Description

A delicious and fresh Italian dish featuring chicken, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Top each chicken breast with sliced mozzarella and cherry tomatoes.
  6. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the top.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
