Description

Delightfully hearty Cheesy Cauliflower Steaks, blending creamy cheese with earthy cauliflower for a wholesome comfort food experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the cauliflower into thick steaks (about 1-inch thick).
  3. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper evenly over the steaks.
  5. Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until they begin to soften.
  7. Remove from the oven, sprinkle cheese generously on top of each steak, and return to the oven.
  8. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute cheese with vegan cheese and use an oil substitute.
