Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into circles.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on one half of each circle.
  5. Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Fold the other half of the circle over and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
