Chicken Asparagus Casserole

Description

A delicious and creamy chicken asparagus casserole that’s perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup asparagus, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, chopped asparagus, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the chicken and asparagus mixture.
  5. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
