- 2 cups (300 g) cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 2 cups (300 g) cooked rice
- 2 cups (200 g) broccoli florets, lightly steamed
- 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) condensed cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 1/2 cups (180 g) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional topping: 1/2 cup (50 g) breadcrumbs
- Optional topping: 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
- Mix the casserole: In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, rice, broccoli, condensed soup, milk, 1 cup of cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top. If using, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
