A comforting and delicious Chicken Dressing Casserole perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients

- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 package (12 oz) stuffing mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped celery and onion, and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, thyme, and sage.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sautéed vegetables, chicken broth, and stuffing mix. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the casserole.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
