- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into small cups in a muffin tin.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each cup.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
- These cups can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
