Description

A comforting and elegant dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a bright lemon and caper sauce, perfect for any dinner table.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup capers
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove chicken and whisk in remaining butter until melted.
  8. Serve the chicken topped with sauce and parsley.
