Ingredients

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (for decoration)
- Green icing (for decoration)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, scoop out small portions of dough and roll them into football shapes.
- Place the shaped dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Melt the white chocolate chips and use them to pipe laces on the footballs.
- Use green icing to add details to the footballs if desired.
- Refrigerate the footballs until set, then serve and enjoy!
