Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a heart-shaped baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into heart shapes.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each brownie heart into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Sprinkle with decorations if desired and let the chocolate set before serving.
