- 1 onion, chopped

- 4 hero rolls or sandwich buns

Instructions
- Cook in a skillet over medium heat until the chopped onions are soft.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Place the cheese slices on top of the beef and onions. Cover the skillet to help the cheese melt.
